Dawn Shojai

Dawn Shojai has spent the majority of her career as an executive pharmacy leader and consultant in national and regional managed care organizations. She has managed commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid pharmacy benefits and has firsthand experience in the evolution of formulary management over the past 25 years. Dawn also brings experience as an accomplished consultant, supporting health plans, pharmacy benefits and Part D compliance needs at her previous firms. Her strengths include creating effective programs to improve quality metrics and member outcomes, developing cost-effective formulary and utilization management strategies, and ensuring Medicare Compliance. Dawn has broad experience in improving Star ratings and HEDIS measurements, specifically in the design, implementation, and validation of patient experience, process, outcome, and quality improvement measures. Dawn earned a doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology from the University of the Pacific, Stockton, CA. She has completed clinical residencies and a post-doctoral fellowship in Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD
